Helping Our Friend As She Helps Us
On Wednesday, December 9, our inspirational friend and CL Foundation spokesperson Stephani Victor was the victim of a devastating home burglary. While she and her husband Marcel are safe, many treasured items have been stolen from their home, including Olympic Team USA rings and a hard drive full of precious memories. These memories included milestones in her rehabilitation and achievements in the Paralympics that were essential to complete her upcoming documentary.
As the Chaffin Luhana Foundation Spokesperson, Stephani delivers the message that “nothing is impossible” to inspire and recognize others facing seemingly insurmountable obstacles. In this spirit, Chaffin Luhana LLP is helping Stephanie and her husband during this difficult time by offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspects and the safe return of these irreplaceable items. The information must be reported to the Los Angeles Police Department.*
Everyone who knows Stephani understands that she will take this unfortunate experience and find the “good” in it. In a few days, Stephani intended to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the tragic accident that changed her life forever by doing something many thought she would never do: walk again. Instead, she will be focusing her time on telling the story of this most recent difficult circumstance and encouraging others to stay safe this holiday season and protect their homes.
As Stephani says, this isn’t a bump in the road, it’s simply a rest stop, “I know and believe that I am guided by spirit and everything is unfolding for our highest good.”
